Dear
Steve:
I
wanted to take a moment to thank you for the three
memorable goose and duck hunting trips which you have
guided for me over the past two hunting seasons. Your
skills as a guide are some of the finest which I have
witnessed in my many years of hunting and have turned
what would have otherwise been average hunting trips
into truly memorable experiences.
I
will always remember our last trip with Bill Pitcher,
Steve Sandebeck and Bill Tyler where your skill as
a caller had both geese and ducks tolling into the
decoys simultaneously. What a day!
I
have always been particularly impressed with your
concern for the safety of all members of the hunting
party who, as we all sometimes do, tend to get caught
up in the heat of the moment and temporarily suspend
common sense. Your friendly, yet firm, admonitions
regarding safety have always given me a sense of security
which I have not necessarily felt when hunting with
other guides.
I
look forward to hunting with you again this Fall and
will call you at the end of the Summer to schedule
our trips.
With
best personal regards I remain,
Sincerely yours,
Bradford Carney
Dear
Mr. Goss,
I
just wanted to take this opportunity to express my
sincere appreciation for the outstanding hunting experienced
by me and my guests with you this year. You possess
a unique ability to provide a hunt that is successful
in terms both of downed game and overall enjoyment.
While we got our limit on every hunt, I have to say
that I would have considered each hunt a rousing success
even if no game had been bagged. You run a very entertaining
blind, and I will always remember the convivial atmosphere
that is the hallmark of your hunts. As you well know
the guests I brought with me had widely differing
personalities, and yet, without exception, each of
them expressed their admiration for your abilities
and for the conduct of your hunts.
Thank
you again for a great season, I am eagerly looking
forward to next year!
Sincerely,
Larry Housman

Steve,
Thank
you for the most memorable hunts this fall. I don't
know what I enjoyed more the casual non-stop banter
in the blind or the trigger time that you called in
for us 9X plus.
If
you need a reference please do not hesitate to have
them call me, or anyone else in our parties. We all had
a great time that will be forever imprinted in our collective
brains
I
assume that you have received the disc from Chris with
the photos? There are a few out of 150 that turned out
well.
I
hope that you have a Merry Christmas, and a rock and
roll tolling bloody New Year.
Gus
Steve,
I
had to drop you a line to let you know that my friend
Scott and I had a blast hunting with you and Ben. Ben
cracked us up when he shot that Snow Goose. Funny kid.
I know Scott and I aren’t the best shots, but
you were more than patient with us and allowed us to
really enjoy the experience. I couldn’t believe
we were able to get our limit before noon on such a
clear day. Not a cloud in the sky and you had the geese
landing on our heads all morning. Just blew me away.
You are an exceptional guide and Scott and I are looking
to book again with a couple of our buddies, so next
time we will be there with a couple more guns. I will
let you know, in advance of course, when we will be
available. Hopefully you will be too.
Thanks
again for the loan of the boots and the shot. A good
guide is prepared for anything, and that you were!!!
Thanks again for an
awesome hunt. You will be highly recommended to everyone
I talk to.
Sincerely,
Guy
